Rundle Mall
Adelaide's Longest Street Party
Rundle Mall is the beating heart of Adelaide's retail scene, a pedestrian-only stretch running through the CBD lined with department stores, arcades, and everything from high street names to small specialty retailers. It's the kind of place locals duck through on a lunch break and visitors linger in for hours, drawn in by the buskers, the seasonal decorations, and the sheer scale of it all.
It's also home to a few only-in-Adelaide landmarks worth seeking out, like the giant reflective Spheres sculpture (better known as the Mall's Balls) and the bronze pigs dotted along the pavement. Trading hours stretch into the evening on Fridays and start a little later on Sundays, so it's easy to fold into an evening out as much as a daytime shopping trip.
