Can I get to Adelaide hospitals from Hume Serviced Apartments without a car?Yes. Hume Serviced Apartments is on the route of Adelaide's free City Connector bus loop, which runs along Hutt Street, Halifax Street and North Terrace, close to St Andrew's Hospital, Calvary Adelaide Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital precinct. The free city tram also runs along North Terrace directly past the Royal Adelaide Hospital, within the free city travel zone. For hospitals further from the CBD, such as Burnside Hospital or the Repat Health Precinct, a taxi or rideshare is generally the easiest option.
Can I do a very short stay, like one or two nights, around a day procedure?Yes. A short stay of one or two nights around a day procedure is fine at Hume Serviced Apartments. We understand day surgery patients often just need a comfortable, quiet place to rest the night before and the night after their procedure, and our team can help arrange a stay that fits your treatment schedule.
Is there a quiet, non-medical space to recover away from the hospital?Yes. Each Hume Serviced Apartment is a private, self-contained space, separate from any clinical or hospital setting, giving you a genuine home environment to rest and recover in between appointments or after treatment. Guests can shut the door, cook their own meals, and recover at their own pace, away from the noise and routine of a hospital ward.
